Value Tickets
No one likes paying for bus fares, but we have to cover our costs somehow, and the fairest way is to charge our passengers.
Here at Mullany’s Buses, though, we do like to reward loyalty, and the best way to do that is to give our regular passengers some money off their fares — that’s why we have value tickets.
Our value tickets are issued to cover unlimited travel within a zone, and our zones are:
Watford Zone - for travel on all Watford Routes 346, R8 plus Route 318 between Watford and Gallows Hill Railway Bridge.
Hemel Zone - for travel on Routes 318 and R19 between Hemel Hempstead and Leavesden Park and Leavesden Studios.
West Herts Zone - available for travel on ALL mullany’s buses routes, including throughout the 318 flyer route.
NEW Langley Zone – available for travel on Route 318 between Kings Langley High Street and Leavesden Park or Leavesden Studios; on Route R8 between Bedmond and Furtherfield and throughout Route R19.
Prices are as shown in the table below. All our tickets can be purchased from our drivers on the buses

Note that Langley Zone value tickets are only sold at the adult rates.
If you either study or work at West Herts College, then we’ve got an even bigger bargain for you! Show your West Herts College ID card to the driver and you’ll only pay the child rate for your value ticket! So, from Hemel Hempstead to the Watford Campus, that’s £44 for a month, or about £2 per day if you travel every weekday!
